How We Met
We met at a local bar in Charleston called Shelter. One night in October 2022, we were both out with our own groups of friends when we crossed paths, started talking, and ended up laughing over a couple drinks. Before the night ended, we exchanged contact information and went our separate ways - not knowing where things would go next.

Late 2022 – Early 2023
The Early Days
Over the next few months, we stayed in touch and got to know each other more and more. At the time, Molly was working overnight shifts on Kiawah, so our schedules didn’t always line up, but we talked every day. Whenever we could, we’d run into each other at local restaurants and bars with friends, slowly building something that felt worth holding onto.

Over the next few months, we stayed in touch and got to know each other more and more. At the time, Molly was working overnight shifts on Kiawah, so our schedules didn’t always line up, but we talked every day. Whenever we could, we’d run into each other at local restaurants and bars with friends, slowly building something that felt worth holding onto.
March 2023
Getting Serious
Things really started to click after one unforgettable night in March. Molly decided it would be funny to send Adam on a "scavenger hunt" - which was really just a mission to pick up Crumbl Cookies (her favorite). She also claimed she had left a note somewhere for him to find. After searching everywhere and completely confused, Adam called her to say he couldn’t find it. She casually told him it must have blown away and that she was already at his house waiting for the cookies. When he got home, he found Molly and her friend on the back porch laughing hysterically - because there was never a note. Somehow, that moment proved that Adam was all in… even if it meant falling for her antics.

After months of getting to know each other, Adam finally decided Molly had made him wait long enough. After a date at one of her favorite restaurants, LoLa, he asked her to be his girlfriend - and that’s when everything really began.

2023 – 2025
Adventures Together
Over the next couple of years, we built a life full of memories - traveling, spending time with friends, and taking countless trips to Hilton Head. A lot of those memories were made during dinner dates at Molly’s favorite places like LoLa and Texas Roadhouse, and Adam’s favorite, Home Team BBQ. Those nights, along with our trips, became some of our favorite moments together and helped shape a place - and a life - that would eventually mean even more to our story.

He Asked
Adam proposed in Hilton Head, a place that had already become special to us through so many trips over the years. The plan was to go out to a nice dinner and "dress up" with our friends. Before dinner, one of our friends suggested we take pictures on the beach since we all looked nice - though this was part of the plan all along. It had been raining all day, but for the 30 minutes we were on the beach, the rain stopped. In that perfect window, surrounded by our friends, Adam got down on one knee - and Molly said yes. As it turns out, there was never a dinner reservation at all. Instead, Adam had arranged for catering to be delivered to the house while we were on the beach, and we spent the rest of the night celebrating together - good food, great company, and a moment we’ll never forget.

We’re getting married at Pepper Pavilion in Charleston, surrounded by the people we love most. After everything that brought us here, we couldn’t be more excited for what’s next - and more grateful to celebrate it with all of you.
